While I’m writing this, the fight against Corona is going on worldwide and I really don’t know what to think about that anymore. How is it possible to take the right actions, as a person, as a teacher, as a parent in these days? There are so many different voices around me that I’m just trying not to become crazy. As an art teacher, I will have to work tomorrow at school. My seven year old child is getting more and more nervous concerning the restrictions at school, too, but life goes on, whatever happens. At the moment, I’m a little bit angry because there are so many people that actually have to go to work in a state of illness. If I’d decide to stay at home because I’m feeling ill my child would have to go to school anyways, because I’m an onlyparent and my parents are quite old. My pupils would have no teacher because there was noone to represent me tomorrow – and so everything seems to be really difficult from that point of view. What do you think about that, independent if you’re a parent or not? I’m really interested in your opinions, so please don’t hesitate to leave a comment below!

If you’re staying at home for the weekend because you don’t want to leave the house, maybe this is the right thing to do with your children: Make your own edible play dough. My daughter Marla did this yesterday – guided by her inspiring Montessori-teacher Anja – and it was more then fun (Thank you Anja for the recipe!). So I wanted to share the recipe with you – maybe you’ll have as much as fun as we had.

You’ll just have to mix the ingredient for the chocolate, marshmallow and/or peanut dough an keep it in a box in the fridge as long as you’ll use it. Please eat it within two days or just use it for playing longer! If possible, have fun doing that and don’t worry too much. Enjoy!
